hey guys/girls..this was my last resort, maybe im just missing something.ok here goes
im having some problems getting 8.0 to detect my monitor. maybe some specs about my pc would help
xp2000+ oc'd 1gb pc2700 80+80 gb maxtors XFX G4 ti4200 128ddr oc'd audigy platinum pro sound
my monitor is a generic Compaq FS740 ive tried 2 seperate monitors and with no luck
everytime i try to startx, i get "no screens found"
i tried redhat-config-xfree86 and imanually entered the freq's
31.5-70, 50-120 used the generic NV driver for my GFX card, and also tried the generic DDR driver and i still cant get my monitor to show up
i tried DCCPROBE, and it returns "bogus values" im in a bind here anyone got any suggestions?
