Use modprobe ppa instead of insmod ppa, and it will take care o loadingHi, I have a 100Mb Zip drive and want to be able to use this with my RH Linux. What do I need to do to get this to work.
I have tried to run insmod ppa, but it came back with some messages about missing modules.

the missing modules. You probably don't have the low-level parallel
port modules loaded. One thing to keep in mind with ZIP disks - for
some strange reasion they are normaly partitioned and formatted with the
data on the 4th logical partition, instead of the first. I use SCSI and
IDE ZIP drives, so I have only limmited knolage of the parallel port
version.

Depending on the age of your ZIP drive, you may need to 'modprobe imm' instead. The newer ZIP 100 parallel drives use the imm driver and the older ones use ppa.
