I tried going to a website and a "Red Hat User Management" page came up.
It gave me a search and add option, as well as the following:

website, and I got the same repsonse. Every time I open Internet
Explorer and try to go ANYWHERE, I get the same response (but my
internet connection is fine). As I stated before, I have never even
HEARD of Red Hat Linux until this problem. Could you please tell me what
I need to do, in the simplest terms possible, to get Internet Explorer
working again?

While this does not sound like a redhat related issue, I would like to
know what happened to your box.

I have to say that I have never heard of such a thing. The first thing
that comes to mind is that your IE has been infected with a virus of
some sort or you are trolling for some flames. While I use linux, I
understand that in spite of how I feel about MS and their business
tactics, There are valid reasons for using their OS.

I have a some questions.

What was the URL in the location bar when you opened IE and were
presented with the RedHat oriented page?

When you try another website what shows in the location bar on IE?

What were you doing when this began.

You state that you opened IE. Was this done by clicking on the "big e"
or as a response to trying to open a link in an email or some other
document?

Are there any other strange symptoms in your machine?

Is this machine directly connected to the Internet?

Are you running a firewall?

I am really curious as to what is happening.
