linux is an operating system just as windows is an operating system. the
difference being a variety of stuff including the ability to actually see the
code that does the stuff that you see on your screen. linux is more secure
and far more stable. while windows has the nice bonus that 90% of the world
knows how to use it.

if you're getting "redhat user management" stuff appearing everywhere on your
computer my guess would be one of two things:

a) there's some sort of network problem. if you're in an office or on some
sort of network, then you should talk to the person in charge of that
network. (s)he's probably messed up something and may not even know. if
you're @home, it could be an issue w/ your internet service provider. call
'em up and find out what's goin' on.

b) internet explorer may be broken (see the above note about windows vs. linux
reliability, stability and security). try downloading netscape
(www.netscape.com) or opera (www.operasoftware.com) or mozilla
(www.mozilla.org) and see if they work. if they do, your copy of explorer is
broken and you'll have to reinstall. ...might i suggest that you pick up a
copy of redhat and try that out?

good luck.
