I have an application that is an emulator of an old computer (FST2, used in IC
testers). I created a
"front panel" for the computer using GTK 1.2.10 and it works fine under RH 6.2. We
have used 6.2
pretty much since it first came out and have not upgraded. Lately, I have started to
look at upgrading
and have found an odd problem. Under 6.2 the front panel program has a blue
background, white
and black buttons, and some buttons that toggle between red and green. It all works
nicely. When I
tried to run the program under RH 8.0, all the colors are gone! It is black lettering
on grey. I tried
re-compiling under 8.0 with no change.

I am really puzzled, since I am using 1.2.10 under 8.0 just like under 6.2. I am at
a lose as to where
to look. It even is more puzzling since the buttons that toggle start out as grey,
then once you click
they have the proper color. I set the color on the toggle the same as my initial
button value is set.

Anyone have any ideas?

Best regards.
