Hi,

Thanks Michael Fratoni and Gordon Messmer. I tried deleting the __db*
files in /var/lib/rpm. rpm --erase works, but only once. Then the __db*
files has to be deleted again and only then rpm --erase works.

Sigh. How did such a massive bug make it through?

I'm wondering if updating to the test release will destroy my current
rpm database? If it doesn't, I'll update immediately!

Thanks and Best regards,
Ditesh
