Hi, Thanks Michael Fratoni and Gordon Messmer. I tried deleting the __db* files in /var/lib/rpm. rpm --erase works, but only once. Then the __db* files has to be deleted again and only then rpm --erase works. Sigh. How did such a massive bug make it through? I'm wondering if updating to the test release will destroy my current rpm database? If it doesn't, I'll update immediately!
