Known issue with the rpm included with the 8.0 release. I've had much better results with the test release at: ftp://people.redhat.com/jbj/test-4.1/ In the meantime, the following should get rpm working again: kill -9 (any rpm or up2date processes) rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db* rpm --rebuilddb Hope that helps, - -- - -Michael pgp key: http://www.tuxfan.homeip.net:8080/gpgkey.txt Red Hat Linux 7.{2,3}|8.0 in 8M of RAM: http://www.rule-project.org/ - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+WvKKn/07WoAb/SsRAtzAAJoC6kTPFAGhjtTCeHqW2bXmgDshCQCgro1s 1v0BLjzvk5HAmCQQxlI2mkM= =BOhq -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
