Don't think so. I just forced it down to single-speed and tried to write an 
audio CD and all I see in the window is "cdrecord: No such device or address. 
Cannot send SCSI cmd via ioctl." :-(
Does that help anyone tell me what's wrong??? I really would like to figure 
this out. It *used* to work back in RH 7.1, but after I upgraded the kernel 
in RH 7.1 it didn't work, so I went back to the original install-kernel for 
RH 7.1 and it worked again. But I recently upgraded to RH 8.0 and it stopped 
working again! :-(
HELP!!!
