I just forced it down to single-speed and tried to write an audio CD and all I see in the window is "cdrecord: No such device or address. Cannot send SCSI cmd via ioctl." :-( Does that help anyone tell me what's wrong??? I really would like to figure this out. It *used* to work back in RH 7.1, but after I upgraded the kernel in RH 7.1 it didn't work, so I went back to the original install-kernel for RH 7.1 and it worked again. But I recently upgraded to RH 8.0 and it stopped working again! :-( HELP!!!
