A couple questions. Has it ever worked under RedHat? If so, what changed
before it stopped working? And, are you sure the power management on that
notebook is APM and not ACPI?

I'm having trouble with power management on my Dell Inspiron 2500. I'd like
to able to keep an eye on battery levels and have
