Yes. You can connect a printer to a Linux box and print from applications
that are running on a Windows box. This requires Samba.

You can also connect a printer to a Windows box and print from
applications that are running on a Linux box. This uses a package that is
distributed with Samba (samba-client), but it does not require you to
setup the Samba daemon.
