And don't forget /var/spool/mail and /etc/gshadow. I would expect that all the current mail spools are in /var/spool/mail as is the usual default. To avoid losing mail, do a clean shutdown of sendmail (or whatever your MTA is) and also shut down IMAP/POP before you move the directories.
