Hi all, Could some please give me some pointers on how best to move 3000+ users from box running RH 7.0 (ext2 file system, 2.2.16smp kernel) to an identical box running RH 8.0 (ext3 file system, latest kernel) ?
The users are all mail server users only. The do not have shell access (/bin/false) although we give them home directories (which they do not get to use anyway). It would be nice if I didn't lose anyone's mail in the process, but if this is unavoidable then I can leave with it.
