MB: Intel D850 or 845 (if using 845 better off grabbing nVidia based graphics card as Extreme Graphics insn't well supported yet) RAM: RAMBUS for 850 or DDR 333 for 845 HDD: WD800JB (Western Digital 80Gb with 8Mb Cache) CPU: Found negligable difference in performance on Linux but suggest going for 2GHz at least.
