Have you tried downloading with something else than netscape?
I have had several problems with downloading things with netscape,
even small files.(netscape thinks it downloaded the file okay, but when
you try to unzip it, it doesn't work. When you try again:same result
even after clearing netscapes cache)
I have just downloaded staroffice with an ftp client
no problem.
