Last night I tried to d/load StarOffice 4.0 for the
third time. I have been doing this late at night
because I am using a modem (ughh!). Last night
I started a little earlier and was able to monitor
the progress more before I went to sleep.
By the time I went to sleep, I had downloaded
about 60% and the d/load monitor for Netscape
estimated another 1.5 hours left. When I awoke,
it looked as if I had finished. I checked the
directory and the file time was in accordance
with Netscape's ETA. But the file size was only
listed as ~19 MB and it is a 44MB dowload.
What gives?
This is basically the same thing that has
happened the past two nights. Am I really
not getting the whole 44 MB or is the size
being misreported? Am I missing something
really obvious here? Any help would be appreciated.
