I am totally new to this list and I joined it to see if anyone can give me
an answer to this question.

I am having constant memory allocation errors every day on a linux system
running my http server., so it is very vital.

My only recourse is to CTRL-ALT- DEL and most times RESET. This sucks and I
pray every time to not go down, because I have not got my IDE tape drive
working yet either for backups.

So I basically have two questions, memory errors and tape backups. ANYTHING
would be so greatly appreciated.
