I have the same problem, not with your aunt, but another domain. It happens
with just this one site for me. The other site is running Linux, I think
Slackware. Neither one of us can sent/receive from each other. All other
addresses are O.K. for us both. Sendmail times out waiting for a response
after the header is sent and never recovers. It also only happens with messages
that are large >500 bytes, I think. I have not got a solid number. Sendmail works
just fine if the message is small. Something like "this is a test" is O.K.
I am running RH 5.0 with all the updates up to ~30days ago. Everything I
have tried has not changed anything. The other address is just a simple
place.com type of domain. I am also using Elm. I can also mail to his non-
gateway machine. Any suggestions are welcome.
