Hello!
I'm having a strange problem, and I don't really know where to start looking
for a solution to it. I use Pine and Sendmail for sending e-mail, and it has
worked out very well ever since I set it up (following an article in Linux
Journal).
Now, the problem is when I try to send e-mails to my aunt. She doesn't get
them. Everybody else that I send e-mails to receive them, so I drew the
conclusion that something was wrong with my aunt (or rather the way she uses
her computer). Naturally I doublechecked her e-mail address a few times, and
sent her lots of test messages. She didn't get them. She received e-mail from
others, though, so I figured something was wrong with my setup. In a desperate
attempt to do something about the problem, I wrote a message in the Netscape
e-mail program. She got that one... So it seems I can send her messages by
using Netscape, but not Pine, which normally works great.
I figure this should have something to do with either Pine or Sendmail, but I
just can't figure out what. Where should I start looking? Any suggestions? I
can understand if you think it sounds like a bizarre problem... I wonder if
anyone else has encountered a similar problem. The _only_ clue I've got as to
what might cause this is that my aunt's e-mail address is unusually long:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] . I just wonder why that would cause any
problem...
