When I installed RH5.0 a I choose arbitrary partitions. Now that
I am more familier with linux, I want different sized
partitions.

Q1: Do I need to back everything up, repartion, then reninstall??
(this would not be so bad, but would take a few hours)
otherwise, will i need something like magic partition(i think
this is the name of a partition program that will repartition stuff)

Q2:(not such an important question): I am running linux on my
laptop and am the only user. I have 1.2 gig available for
linux. What do you think of this for a partition:

/ : 100M
/usr : 700M
/usr/src :100M
/home : 300M

do I need a /usr/local partition? i have one now and it is using
around 1M. I guess I could make a really small /usr/local
partition, or is none better?

Thanks in advance for any help

Blake
