I have just bought a 4 and an 8 port serial card from Byte Runner
Technologies. I heard about them on this list some time ago ao I know
someone out there has them working. I have them set up and they NEARLY
work. I get the odd character through in both the transmit and receive
directions but mostly nothing goes thorough. It's the same with both
boards.
I am running RedHat 5.0 with all updates on a P75 with kernel 2.0.34
(rolled by hand).
setserial reports the following when I have it set up for the 8 port
board. I'm sure the jumpers on the board are correct for these
settings.
