I tried to run that but it kept segfaulting on me. *shrug* But I'm not
running gcc 2.8 so I think that's it.. but there are more icq clones than
this :)
If you want a good console based one, go to freshmeat.net and look up micq.
It is fast and reliable, and supports a lot of the commands. Only problem
is the icq server kicks me off every once in a while.. I think it's a bug
in the protocol part of the program. New releases come out every week or
so, so I imagine the author is working on it. :)
And yes, that X11 box has been there forever. I put my email in and haven't
heard a thing, and that was at least a few months ago.
