Hi --
First of all, I was delighted to discover (recently, since my original
postings) that there is an LDP Oracle HOWTO. Go to
http://sunsite.unc.edu/mdw and check it out.
I am now putting together an Oracle-Linux FAQ, answering questions and
dealing with issues not covered in the FAQ.
I have not yet heard of anyone running 8.0.4 with Linux, but a lot of us
are running 7.3.3. Oracle8 is supposed to be available on SCO, however.
