anyone actually attempted the RAID setup described in Sysadmin magazine
thinking of implementing for a samba solution and mars solution in combination
perhaps with httpd if i am convinced that it can be battened sufficiently
in a internal lan. According to the writeup you should get 3 adaptec UW 2940's
and 6 barracudas for starters. At least if following the example which i
would love to try but before the heavy investment in hardware i would like
to know if anyone has a hardware list of what arrangement worked for them.
The samba plus mars solution on a large lan running say 95 would be great
