Hi all,

I've heard this "font server" thingie mentioned before, and given the
name I can imagine it's a daemon which somehow gives X-apps enough info
to dump new fonts to the screen without them being on the local system,
right?  Is there a FAQ or a HOWTO available somewhere on this topic?
