Hi. I am running Redhat version 5.0, MetroX, and the TriTeal CDE. The
problem that I'm having is that my hard drive light comes on at boot-up and
stays on until I turn the machine off. I know that this is not normal, but
I don't know what is causing it (and I've looked and looked for info.) I'm
running a dual boot and my other OS reads the hard drive periodically, as
you'd expect.
I'm using a Compaq 233 with 48Mb of RAM and an IDE drive and I'm logging in
as root. I'd appreciate any help anyone can give.
