Hello all, I am using Linux Red hat 5.0, on an intel. Tonight, one of my linux boxes locked up. When I shut it down and tried to reboot, it starts to boot, then when It makes it to fsck /dev/hda4, It stops and flashes errors, and will not give me a bash. errors: kerneel: dma_intr: status =0x61 {DriveReady DeviceFault Error} and so on.... Any ideas on what this could be? Or what could have caused this?? Also, If I'm going to need a new hard drive, What is the best out for linux? Any opinions will be appreciated! Thanks everyone, and have a great weekend. marc -- PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST ARCHIVES! http://www.redhat.com/RedHat-FAQ /RedHat-Errata /RedHat-Tips /mailing-lists To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
