Like a lot of other people, I was blown away by the GNOME booth at the
LinuxExpo. Since I wanna be just like those guys when I grow up, I'm
looking to set up enlightenment, but although I've been to at least half
a dozen E-aware sites, nobody seems to have all the files to support a
complete installation.

Has anyone successfully done this recently? Is there a full rpm
somewhere?

A source tarball (enl_BETA-0.13.3.tar.gz) failed to compile on my system
(RH5.1, slightly tweaked) with lots of missing file errors.

I have rpm files for enlightenment-DEFAULT and enlightenment-DR; the
'default' one depends on the DR one, which in turn produces the
following:

[root@fred E]# rpm -i enlightenment-DR_0.12.5-1.i386.rpm
failed dependencies:
        libIm.so.1 is needed by enlightenment-DR_0.12.5-1
        imlib >= DR_0.5 is needed by enlightenment-DR_0.12.5-1

I've looked around (contrib directories, search engines, my own CD ;-] )
but I can't find either of those libs. Slightly different versions, yes
(I think I found a liblm.so.0 and something as recent as imlib-DR_0.4),
but not the ones called for.

Signposts?

Thanks,
m
