Hi,
I am new to Linux. I installed RH5.0 at home and have been using it for
about a month. So happy have I been with Linux that I decided to install
RH5.0 on my computer at work also. My problem is that X will not start. I
have read the archives and how to's and can not figure out how to fix my
problem. Please help
The log file /var/log/Xerrors reports some unresolved warnings and ends with
the following:
Cannot open "keymap/metro" for reading
Couldn't load XKB keymap, falling back to pre-XKB keymap
Is this the problem?
I have a PentiumPro 200MHz
ViewSonic 21PS monitor
NumberNine Imagine Sieres 2 video card
A Logitec Mouseman mouse
And a Microsoft Natural key board.
How can I fix the X server error?
