Frankly, I'd have you customers stay away from lilo entirely, unless they
absolutely have to.  If they screw up, then it becomes your responsibility to go
thru the steps of telling them how to recover..

Hopefully we'll see this improve soon..  But yes, a symlink would be fine
otherwise.
