You have to use the rescue mode to get a shell. Use "rescue" at the initial
boot prompt. You'll be prompted for the second disk, and after which point
you'll have a # prompt.

That's because, as I typed, it's called /usr/doc/lilo-0.20/QuickInst. Slackware
just copied it to /usr/bin as `liloconfig'.
