I've got this message when a user tries to retrieve his email even
though he hasn't exceeded his quota yet. My guess is that when qpopper
tries to create the .username.pop file in the mail directory the ownership
of the file is set to the username, in effect the mail consumption of the
user is doubled. So if the no. of bytes of this doubled mail exceeds the
hard limit, qpopper returns the ff. quota error:

-ERR Unable to copy mail spool file, quota exceeded (122)

My insight is for qpopper not to set the ownership of .username.pop file
to the user who tries to acess his email but to the root or to some user
with no quota.

Does anyone have any experience on this, esp. on how to solve this
problem?
