Hello, For now 2 days I am trying to fix my machine, unfortunetly I am not successful. It seems that the root parttition is not well mounted (it is mounted but not weel), but I do not understand why. I enclos the /etc/mtab file. I run RH5.0 with a kernel 2.0.32-3. /dev/hda11 and hda16 are never clean. It also seems that the rc.sysinit file is not run. > > > Finding module dependencies > Starting kerneld, version 2.1.55 (pid 24) > Checking filesystems. > /dev/hda14: clean, 238/20160 files, 11910/80608 blocks > /dev/hda11 was not cleanly unmounted, check forced. > /dev/hda11: 16574/62496 files (1.4% non-contiguous), 228157/249952 blocks > /dev/hda12: clean, 10403/47424 files, 171756/189472 blocks > /dev/hda15: clean, 1186/27216 files, 71204/108832 blocks > /dev/hda16 was not cleanly unmounted, check forced. > /dev/hda16: 2929/33320 files (12.1% non-contiguous), 117949/133024 blocks > Parallelizing fsck version 1.10 (24-Apr-97) > Checking all file systems. > ---------------------------------- > ---------------------------------- > [/sbin/fsck.ext2] fsck.ext2 -a /dev/hda14 > [/sbin/fsck.ext2] fsck.ext2 -a /dev/hda11 > [/sbin/fsck.ext2] fsck.ext2 -a /dev/hda12 > [/sbin/fsck.ext2] fsck.ext2 -a /dev/hda15 > [/sbin/fsck.ext2] fsck.ext2 -a /dev/hda16 > ---------------------------------- > Checking filesystem quotas > Mounting local filesystems. > Turning on user and group quotas for local filesystems > Setting clock: Fri May 22 23:41:53 CEST 1998 > Enabling swap space. > Initializing random number generator... > /dev/hda6 /mnt/winnt ntfs rw,umask=0222 0 0 > //wnt_sc1/users /mnt/ext/sc1 smbfs 0 0 -- ============================================================================== Patrick DUPRE | | Tel: (33 4) 76-88-78-51 25 Rue des Martyrs | | Fax: (33 4) 76-85-56-10 CNRS/LCMI (GHMFL) BP 166 | | F-38042 GRENOBLE Cedex 09 | | email: ============================================================================== -- PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST ARCHIVES! http://www.redhat.com/RedHat-FAQ /RedHat-Errata /RedHat-Tips /mailing-lists To unsubscribe: mail with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
