Using Redhat Linux 5.0 , when we execute the command: shutdown -r now to reboot, all the processes shutdown properly, but then a line keeps repeating to the effect that there are "no more process to kill", and the machine never reboots. This "no more processes to kill" repeats about every 30 seconds, but the system simply will not reboot.
