Both of your files look fine to me. Our system uses MMDF which is what
you may be using. If this is the case then your .forward file will be
ignored by an MMDF system. You will need to use a .maildelivery file
instead which seems to do the trick! My .maildelivery reads :-

*       -       |       A       "/usr/local/bin/procmail -f-
#insertusername"

And insert your mailname where I have put insertusername.
