Thank you, thank you, thank you. I followed your instructions with development
kernel 2.1.97 and it worked! I had been told by others that this was
impossible. Maybe you are correct that it requires a development kernel and
that the current stable kernels just don't cut it in this regard.
Can you please expain why each of those modules must be loaded? What is their
relevance to the CS4232? Also, why must the modules be manually loaded via
insmod? Shouldn;t kmod know how to load these things transparently?
