I wish to be able to call subroutines on my Linux server from a Visual Basic
program on a network client. Does anything exist to allow me to do this?
My current set up is a VB 5.0 or VBA application which calls into local DLLs
for database extraction. The database tools can be ported to my Linux box
into .so format and I would like to be able to call these .so libraries from
my client.
The only tricky bit may be the custom object formats used by the database,
but I'm sure I can sort that.
