i understand the reluctance but this is going to be a reality for 1/6 of human
population, not just a "country". proprietary players will happily support it
so that will leave foss users at a disadvantage whereby the ecosystem wont be
usuable. not sure if i can plead anymore for the inclusion of the feature.
