Dear R-devs, I’ve just submitted a bug-fix release of my package, pliman, to address some reported errors. However, the new version, pliman_3.0.0.tar.gz, did not pass the incoming checks automatically.
When testing locally using devtools::check() encountered no errors, warnings, or notes. However, one error was flagged in the "Additional issues checked" section, as seen here: https://www.stats.ox.ac.uk/pub/bdr/noSuggests/pliman.out. This error has already been addressed in the latest submission by including a check_ebi() function to verify whether EBImage (from Bioconductor) is available before running code that depends on it. Today, I noticed that several stable packages, such as Rcpp and sf, were unavailable during the check process for this submission. This wasn’t an issue in the previously published version of pliman. Could this be a temporary problem with the package availability on CRAN? Here is the link to the checks for the new version of pliman. Any insights or suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and assistance.
