On my osx box using python 2.4.2:
$ cat < .
cat: stdin: Is a directory
$ python < .
Bus error
And finally:
$ python -c 'execfile(".")'
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<string>", line 1, in ?
IOError: [Errno 21] Is a directory: '.'
It seems there is a bug somewhere. Annoyingly 'gdb -tty=. python'
doesn't crash.
