I and Gustavo wrote plenty of examples, they come with the source
tarball as well, you have simple examples, custom items and model/veiw
examples.

Yep, unfortunately I'm not aware of a windows build, but it's doable.
Well, this lack is sort of a show-stopper for me. And I am not going to
provide the windows binary myself, because then again I'm not *that*
desperate to get it on windows. Pitty :(.
So while I'll keep an eye on pygocanvas, the DrawingArea-aproach sort of
works for me. Any more comments on that one? I'd appreciate that.
