In that case could you try disabling umodem(4) at boot? I'd like to know if this is due to ugen(4) being open by mtp-connect or/and if it has to do with having two drivers attached to a single USB device. So, boot with -c, disable umodem, quit. Then save the dmesg, your device should only attach at ugen(4). If that's not the case, no need to continue. Then try to repeat the panic and look for detach messages. Thanks, Martin
