I disagree. I run firefox with low memory pressure: 97871 semarie 2 0 434M 320M sleep/1 poll 34:42 0.68% firefox 95072 semarie 2 0 338M 260M sleep/1 poll 27:04 0.34% firefox (with two processes due to e10n). My session has 12 tabs opened with 3 or 4 tabs javascript enabled. But I agree my use of firefox isn't representative of common use-case (no videos or other ressources consuming websites). The running process is firefox-52.0 patched for allocating 128 Mo for javascript (instead of 1 Go). -- Sebastien Marie
