i think it is not a good idea to let a port roam around and download stuff after the make fetch phase. also, the way i did it, waf also had a nice checksum included in the port. the downside is, that i could not make it work with the github variables that way. have a look at my port for an older version, it is in the archives. -f -- petting: a study of anatomy in braille...
