Meanwhile i'm enjoying very hard "skippings" of sound and music with
OpenAL and supertuxkart partially. If i disable music, sound skips a
bit lesser, but all the same it's unacceptable.
My codec is ac97, the old Avance Logic ALC203 to be exact. Direct audio
works well (for example mplayer which has --disable-openal flag by
default). Machine arch is i386.

I've checked other OpenAL-depended games. There is no such problem in
OpenArena. There is something similar in Warzone2100, but sounds much
better.

Any thoughts? Is it just poor audio codec or something else? I think
that OpenAL should work on high level while utilizing audio device via
OpenBSD's sound driver, so i don't believe that audio codec quality
influences on this.
