correction, now none of my files play anymore... i get a "signal 11 in module: decode_video" every time now. so i'd say this is not solely an .mkv issue.. i dont think actually that this is strictly an mplayer issue, vlc complains as well: VLC media player 0.8.6i Janus vlc:/usr/local/lib/vlc/codec/libquicktime_plugin.so: undefined symbol 'NewHandleClear' (.:27268): Gdk-WARNING **: shmget failed: error 12 (Cannot allocate memory) [00000275] xvideo video output error: cannot allocate shared image data (Cannot allocate memory) although it starts playing the file, but it's stuttering so much, it is unusable. can anybody reproduce this? -f -- this tagline is identical to the one you are reading.
