My first (easy) port, be gentle :) This is monit-5.0-beta6 that is required if one wants to connect to the new 'M/Monit' monitoring framework (currently in beta, too):
"M/Monit is a system for automatic management and monitoring of Information Technology Systems. M/Monit can monitor and manage distributed computer systems, conduct automatic maintenance and repair and execute meaningful causal actions in error situations." While M/Monit will require a paid license, the monit agent remains gpl'ed and cost-free. Tested on i386 and amd64. Comments welcomed. Cheers, Stephan
