yes, the question was a bit rhetoric :]
i saw some files before with maintainer=ports@,
didn't realize leaving it out defaults to ports@,
which of course makes sense.

thanks for the diff.  yes i like the docs and examples as well.
i have already opened an issue on their tracker about the sample
files having too strict access rights.
