upstream recently added a new sun (native audio(4)) backend and some of the patches from this port. the next official release probably won't be for a while, looking a their past releases, so I updated the port based on a subversion checkout. I also have patches to either explicitly enable or disable jack support in all current ports that have jack support. most of the patches can be found at the above url. there are also several other new ports there, but I'd like to get jack in first, then take care of all the ports jack may affect, then start adding other new ports. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] SDF Public Access UNIX System - http://sdf.lonestar.org
