Do you mean in emacs CVS head? I could test again but what I saw was that, with current emacs head, M-x list-packages usually failed to contact elpa.gnu.org but, with current emacs + this patch, M-x list-packages does not fail anymore. So do you think we'd have to wait or we could start to push this patch upstream? -- Manuel Giraud
