And here is the real issue.  You think that your personal desires are
all that matters.  Just because you don't want some functionality, it
shouldn't exist then?

I just don't understand how this became a problem for you though.  Since
you are not interested in updated software with new features, why are you
running a recent openbsd release?  Just use an old unsupported release
with less functionality, and you can have fewer ports with less
functionality to go with it too!  You'll save at least a few MB of
precious hard drive space this way too.
